Franziska is a passionate and experienced mental health social worker and has been working in community organisations for over 20 years with a focus on supporting vulnerable children, youth and their families with mental health and complex case management supports. Franziska provides a warm, safe and respectful space for clients to explore their stories, and to feel empowered, seen and heard in understanding their experiences. Working with a trauma informed lens and utilizing a strength- based approach Franziska assists clients to reconnect to their values, skills and aspirations, to work towards their goals, and to overcome barriers and strengthen relationships and connection.
After having studied and worked as a Social Worker in Germany, Franziska has been living and working in Australia for more than 15 years and is accredited as a Mental Health Social Worker by the Australian Association of Social Workers. Franziska is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches including deep listening, psychoeducation, mindfulness, problem solving and skills building tools to assist clients in achieving their full potential.

In her spare time Franziska enjoys spending time in nature and with her family; bush walking, swimming or bike riding. She loves reading, watching her chickens, drinking tea and coffee, and playing board games.
