Registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine
Bachelor Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) | Bachelor Health Science | RMIT University
My name is Laura McCulloch and I am a qualified Doctor of Chinese Medicine. I grew up in Bendigo where I discovered Chinese Medicine in my early teens, after my Mum encouraged me to see a practitioner. This experience sparked a curiosity that I decided to turn into a career. I’ve been fascinated ever since.
Using Chinese Medicine principles, I identify the underlying cause of the condition rather than using symptom-based treatment. I enjoy treating a wide variety of disorders with a special interest in women’s health, mental health and digestive health. I combine different modalities which may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion and tuina (traditional Chinese massage).
While I wholeheartedly believe in a holistic approach to health, I also believe in the importance of integrated medicine. I enjoy working alongside other health practitioners in order to consolidate treatment and provide the best outcomes for my patients.
I work Mondays and Tuesdays in the beautiful town of Daylesford (my second home) and also offer appointments at Bendigo Chinese Medicine through the week.
Please visit my website for more information or to book an appointment, I look forward to meeting you!
