On Tuesday, 4 August, Hale House was buzzing. We were looking forward to a visit from Catherine King, the Federal Member for Ballarat, Shadow Health Minister. Catherine came to see for herself the new facility at Hale House.
BADAC (Ballarat & District Aboriginal Cooperative) have set-up in Hale House, offering bulk billing. It’s proving a relief for locals who can now come and enjoy the cheerful space which is Hale House, while visiting the Doctor, which is all bulk billed.
We’re seeing a broad spectrum of the local community and hope as interest grows, BADAC will make their services available on other days too.
